Stall Signage

For our stall we wanted to have a fun and inviting sign to welcome people into our stall. We came up with a pun which read "Have a yarn" which plays on the topic of our stall which is embroidery and also reiterates the relaxation side of our stall where you can come and sit down on some beanbags and have a chat or "yarn". To make this sign I wanted to create a handmade feel to match the rest of our stall, I decided to use cardboard and weave the letters through the cardboard out of pink yarn. First I tested how I was going to make each letter on some plain cardboard before moving on to the final which would be on black cardboard.
